It is very difficult to keep up to date with everything that is happening on a day-to-day basis. There are numerous R & D projects in the pipeline and those that have just been successfully completed.
These can be summarised as :-
- Ultra Violet cured powder
- Wood grain effects using LASER technology
- New metallic effects are constantly being added to our Anopow range of powders
- For applications within the powder coating field, R&D into new and innovative uses of NANO technology.

March 2010... Martex are pleased to announce that the laboratories of Arkema, France, following 10 months evaluation, have approved our unique epoxy powder primer ref.0024 as a suitable primer coat for their Rilsan T grade of Nylon powders.
This means that, in addition to solvent and/or waterborne primers, the applicator of Rilsan T now has an alternative primer that is non-flammable and VOC compliant.
